    Community Forums General Dentistry My two teeth are root canal treated. Doctor has suggested me to get the crowns done. So is it advisable?

      Yes, generally root canal-treated teeth have less strength compared to natural teeth. Therefore, in order to protect your teeth, Crowns are advisable. There are different kinds of crowns available Like metal, Porcelain metal or all ceramic. You can ask your dentist which crown is suitable for you.
