there are multiple reasons for pain. it will be checked by the dentist to evaluate the reason for the pain. they will check it clinically as wess as taking an x-ray.sometimes it might be related to gums only or food lodgment so it will be fine with just cleaning. if the pain is due to cavity then might require RCT and cap
