Community›Forums›General Dentistry›Some time back I got wisdom tooth surgery done which was not successful. due to surgery some pit kind was formed due to lack of skin. There was slight pain few days back at wisdom tooth area. That pain is gone but I see formation of skin there. Also sometimes I’m not able to smell things. Is loss of smell linked to formation of skin at that area?
no, skin formation has no correlation with smell. you should take a picture and can send it to us. smell loss has some reasons like cold or cough, sinusitis, deficiency of some vitamin and mineral. so you should also check for such reasons.
