    Community Forums Orthodontic Dentistry I have done my braces treatment done but i am not satiesfied with the result so dr has suggested me jaw surgery. Do i need this?

      For adult when we do braces treatment need to remove permanent premolar to compansate the space we need to correct bite. In most of cases this space is enough but in severe upper or lower jaw discrepancy when dentists need more space to correct it they will suggest jaw surgery also called orthognathic surgery.
