when we give any dental prosthesis like crown, veneer , some aesthetic filling its always good to have follow up appointment with your dentist to make sure that everything is working fine and its in good condition so that will help you to diagnose any problem in early stages so it wont damage further. also the regular cleaning and polishing by dentist is needed in every 6 month in such cases. also make habit of flossing to clean between surfaces of teeth which will stop spreading of decay in adjacent teeth.
