my lower back tooth has got cavity which, according to my dentist, is not possible to be filled. root canal or extraction is the only option. my question is if its extraction,will it require replacement?

if your lower last tooth,which has cavity, is wisdom tooth then extraction is better option. and wisdom tooth does not need replacement since it has no function in chewing. however, if it is not wisdom tooth then root canal treatment has to be done followed by crown placement.
